Captain Beefheart Designs.

Last project at uni involved designing a complete 'Best Of..' box set for musician Captain Beefheart.

This is what I came up with.

I feel my strong point are the labels on the vinyl itself.

i wasn't too familiar with Beefheart's sounds..also took a while to finally take to his psychadelic, unusual blues-style music.

I like to think I shown such style throughout the designs.

Each of the labels where inspired by the shapes and colours used in a kaleidoscope to reflect the emotion and

 bizarre essence felt from Beefheart's music.
